The new VÖGELE SUPER 700 featuring a compact design, variable pave width and excellent performance is the ideal mini paver for surfacing footpaths and cycle paths and carrying out minor paving jobs, landscaping contracts or pavement repairs.

With an outer track gauge of just 1.1m, SUPER 700 is ideal for backfilling trenches. Even within 1.2m wide milled cuts, the mini paver manoeuvres and paves easily and accurately thanks to its small track gauge.

The well-thought-out paver design allows machine-based paving up to within 5cm of boundaries.

Due to the small clearance width of just 1.2m, surfacing carried out indoors in factories or basement garages, for instance, does not pose any problems at all. Nor does a narrow entrance or gate represent a bottleneck.

The New VÖGELE Mini Paver

The tracked SUPER 700 has been launched into the market in autumn 2009. It takes the place of its successful predecessor SUPER 600 presented four years ago. A remarkable highlight of the new mini paver SUPER 700 is its larger maximum pave width of 3.2m.

SUPER 700 comes with a powerful and economical DEUTZ engine rated at 45kW, with ECO Mode.

Wide range of applications

The design of the SUPER 700 allows a wide range of paving applications on most varied job sites. With a track gauge of just 1.1m and a clearance width of 1.2m, the small machine is ideal for minor to medium jobs such as backfilling trenches with aspalt, surfacing footpaths or cycle paths or paving asphalt on traffic areas or small roads. Landscaping contracts are further strong points of the VÖGELE newcomer. Machine-based placing of floors inside factory halls or basement garages makes high demands on paver technology as it requires a compact design and excellent manoeuvrability. For these jobs, too, SUPER 700 has all contractors may expect from a mini paver.

AB 200 V a good match

The AB 200 Extending Screed in V version (with vibrators in the basic screed and the extending units) is specially designed for use with the SUPER 700. The screed has a basic width of 1.1m and extends hydraulically up to 2m. Addition of bolt-on extensions increases the pave width of the AB 200 V to a maximum of 3.2m.

For pave widths smaller than the paver’s basic width of 1.1m, a special system for pave width reduction has been developed allowing infinite variation in width between 1.1m and 0.5m, without a need for conversion. As the screed floats on the mix even with the system for pave width reduction fitted, the paver always achieves optimal pre-compaction.

VÖGELE are proud of their long experience as far as the use of electric screed heating is concerned. Like all VÖGELE screeds the AB 200 V, too, is heated electrically. This guarantees to users a uniform distribution of the heat on the sole plates of the screed’s basic unit, extending units and bolt-on extensions. These are ideal conditions to achieve a uniform surface texture. The system quickly heats up the screed to operating temperature and works absolutely reliable.

Conclusion

The SUPER 700 standing out through an excellent price/performance ratio is the ideal machine in the equipment pools of both private and municipal road building contractors.
