    The Training Programme on Machine Technology serves to convey the knowledge and skills needed to perform service repairs yourself. Methods for simple and systematic troubleshooting on the respective machine types are illustrated to this end. The Training Programme is rounded off by explanations of the machine design and the functions of the various assemblies and components. Practical individual exercises on a VÖGELE road paver of the selected type help to reinforce the knowledge conveyed.

    • Basic knowledge of the electrics and hydraulics of VÖGELE pavers and understanding of the general circuit symbols for the hydraulic and electrical systems.

  • Seminar concerning the “Dash 3” generation of electric screed heating systems

    You will get to know the standards and directives required for working on the 400V system of pavers and screeds of the “Dash 3” generation. A clear explanation will be given of the hazards and effects of electric current and also of precautions and how to check them. The principles of electrical variables, three-phase networks/generators and voltage controllers for these will be clearly outlined. You will become familiar with the arrangement of the electrical components of different heating systems, their tasks and how they are related in technical terms. To enable you to remedy faults in the heating systems effectively, you will find out how to diagnose the individual functional groups and evaluate the results.

    • Special features of IT-type networks and precautions used in an IT network
    • Structure and function of electrical components in VÖGELE heating systems
    • Cabling on the different screeds and additional equipment
    • CATIII measuring equipment and how to handle it correctly when measuring electrical variables in the three-phase network
    • Inspecting the 400V system of a VÖGELE machine in line with standard IEC 60204-1 (EN 60204-1/VDE 113)
